Keto Blueberry Cheesecake Mousse
The combination of the sweet and slightly tart blueberries and a hint of lemon, along with the silkiness of the cream cheese and heavy cream, makes this sugar-free blueberry cheesecake mousse extra special.
This keto blueberry cheesecake mousse utilizes cream cheese and vanilla and lemon extract to achieve that cheesecake flavor without the extra carbs.
The cream cheese is also what helps with stability and makes the mousse extra smooth and creamy. It’s also why some people might call this recipe a keto cheesecake blueberry fluff since it is ultra-light and fluffy.
Have I mentioned how quick and easy this recipe is to make? It seriously might be the quickest dessert you can whip up! This makes it great for busy weeknights or last-minute guests.
Best of all, all the ingredients are easy to find!
How To Make A Keto Blueberry Mousse
When making this delicious keto cheesecake fluff, you’ll need fresh or frozen blueberries.
Ideally, you should use berries whenever possible, but I know that using fresh blueberries when out of season can get a little pricey.
If you decide to use frozen, you’ll simply completely defrost the blueberries before you use them in the recipe.
This sugar-free blueberry cheesecake mousse comes together so quickly, you’ll be shocked!
The only prep work involved in this recipe is setting your cream cheese on the counter to soften it since it needs to be at room temperature to mix without any lumps.
If you choose to use frozen blueberries you’ll have to allow them to thaw as well.
To make the mousse, first, you’ll beat the softened cream cheese, sugar substitute, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and blueberries.
Then add the cold, heavy whipping cream and beat until fluffy, soft peaks form and the cream cheese mixture is well combined. Be sure to scrape the bowl with a rubber spatula in the process.
That’s all! Allow the keto fluff to chill in the fridge for 20 minutes (if you can wait), and enjoy!
Store your leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days.

To make this recipe you’ll need the following ingredients: Note that the full printable recipe card is at the end of the post, as is all the nutritional information.
- Full-fat cream cheese softened (it’s the key ingredient)
- Heavy whipping cream, cold
- Blueberries, fresh or frozen
- Sugar-substitute, granulated
- Lemon juice
- Vanilla extract
- Lemon extract
You’ll also need a few tools to make this recipe, most of which you’ll most likely have on hand.
The recipe calls for the use of an electric mixer and a 4-quart glass bowl.
Would you like to save this?
I personally love using a stand mixer because it makes things even faster and produces an airy texture every time. And, of course, it already has its built-in bowl, but a hand mixer works perfectly as well.
Best Sugar-Substitutes For Sugar-free Blueberry Cheesecake Mousse
I have several options when it comes to which low carb sweetener you can use in this sugar-free cheesecake mousse. I am partial to Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener.
Lakanto Monk Fruit is my favorite since the texture and flavor are what I have found to be the closest to real sugar and because the flavor fools your taste buds like nothing else I’ve found in the market.
Having said that, I’m also partial to the brand Swerve, which is an erythritol blend. Similar to Lakanto, it uses sugar alcohols and has 0% impact on blood sugar.
I chose to use a white granulated sweetener for this recipe, but you can also reduce the amount called for by half and use a powdered erythritol option.
You could also use the stevia and erythritol-based brand Pyure if you prefer to use a stevia-based sweetener.
Do note, that if this is your pick, make sure you reduce the amount called for in the recipe by half since it’s a much sweeter option.
Lastly, if you can’t easily find a more natural sugar substitute, you can also use Splenda with good success. I know not everyone would agree with me here, and I respect that, but in my book, it’s still better than regular sugar.

Randy and I came to the keto diet looking at it from a Christian perspective. As believers, we live our lives supported by God’s grace.
So when the Holy Spirit led us to combine our Christian faith and the keto diet, we did so in hopes of finding lasting transformation.
To say we needed God’s intervention is putting it mildly. When we followed the Holy Spirit’s prompting, we got on the path to real transformation.
Knowing firsthand the benefits of this decision, we have created a closed Christian group that is using the keto diet to transform their lives.
We invite you to join our Private Facebook Group and see if it’s not the key you have been missing.

Is the salt necessary or can it be left out?
Hilda Solares

Hi Karen, The salt does balance the flavors, but you can leave it out if you prefer. It's quite common to add a little salt when making desserts to help bring out the flavors more.
