Keto spinach carrot juice, because making sure I get the majority of my nutritional needs met via my food is important to me. I don’t know about you but I would much rather get all my vitamins and minerals in my diet than supplements.
Using a low-carb spinach carrot juice as a quick option to consume more iron and beta-carotene-rich foods just makes sense in my book.
I love that this keto juice recipe is naturally high in B Vitamins, as well as Vitamins A, C, and K. It’s also high in iron, calcium, potassium, and magnesium due to the carrots and spinach.
I opted to add some lemon juice and fresh ginger root to my recipe to further enhance the flavor and to give it an extra boost of nutrition.
It’s a little-known fact that Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, is thought to increase the absorption of nonheme iron. This is why I like to add some lemon juice to my spinach carrot juice.
It also enhances the flavor. I enjoy adding fresh ginger root to this keto-friendly juicing recipe because of its well-known anti-inflammatory properties.
Plus, the flavor of ginger gives it a nice fresh kick.
Don’t avoid enjoying both the flavor and nutrition these vegetables provide while doing keto.

Keto Spinach Carrot Juice
Although carrots are higher in carbs since it’s root vegetables, they can easily be included in a low-carb keto diet with proper macro planning.
Plus what I am suggesting is that this juice is used as a light meal. This makes it perfectly ok to make it part of your keto meal planning options.
Having a low-carb juice like this spinach-carrot combo is a great way to cleanse the body and help you reset. I personally like using a recipe like this prior to doing any form of intermittent fasting.
It’s a great way of prepping my body to begin the cleansing protocol. Since it’s low in carbs and calories, I also recommend having this keto juice to break a fast.
This way, you can ease your body into having food again without it being a shock to your body.
Keto Juice
On the weekends, I can now indulge in higher amounts of carbs. Although I still adhere to a keto low carb lifestyle, the added carbs can potentially kick me out of ketosis.
That’s why starting the week with this keto spinach carrot juice as my breakfast helps me both physically and mentally prepare to be stricter with my macros for the remainder of the week.
It may surprise you to know that drinking your vegetables is not only nutritious, but it is also quite filling.

The following are all the ingredients and equipment you will need to make this keto-friendly juice:
- Fresh spinach
- Whole carrots
- Organic lemon quartered.
- Fresh ginger root
- Juicer
Start by washing and peeling the carrots and cutting off the ends. You can opt to keep the skin on your carrots for added nutritional benefits, as they have the most nutritional value.
When sourcing fresh ginger at your grocery store, look for ginger with smooth skin, a firm texture, and a heavy weight for its size. Avoid choosing pieces that feel soft, look wrinkled, or have spots of mold.
Would you like to save this?
Prep your ginger by washing and peeling. You can choose to leave the skin on the ginger root for a boost of nutrition, but do so with caution, as this will produce a spicer juice.
Next, wash your organic lemon and cut it into quarters. Only use organic lemons if you plan to add them whole to your juice. Otherwise, make sure to peel your lemon prior to cutting.
If you do not have access to organic pesticide-free lemons, then make sure to peel your lemon. Doing so will ensure you’re not being exposed to unwanted chemicals.
After all your vegetables have been prepped, proceed to pass the spinach, carrots, quartered lemon, and ginger root through your juicer.
Refer to the manufacturer’s directions for your juicer of choice. Pour the freshly processed juice into two 4-ounce glasses.
You can add ice to your freshly squeezed juice or have it at room temperature.
This keto juice cleanse recipe makes enough for two servings. I recommend that you drink the juice right away. In order to garner most of its benefits.
However, you can save the juice in a sealed mason jar and refrigerate it for up to 48 hours.
Is Carrot Juice Keto-Friendly?
In closing, while most vegetables are nutrient-rich and packed with essential vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients, those high in carbs, like beets, should be limited on the keto diet.
Carrots in small quantities can be enjoyed in limited quantities. It’s best to juice carrots with non-starchy vegetables such as spinach.
For a powder keto juice option, you might want to consider Bravenly Balance Greens Powder. It packs a lot of nutrition while remaining low in carbs and keto-friendly.
Wondering what exactly is Bravenly Balance and what’s in the supplement? Well, to call it a green juice drink would not do it justice.
You see, although the Balance powder may look like greens, it is not your average vegetable supplement.
It has over fifty ingredients that makeup nine powerful blends for high potency and bioavailability.
A serving of Balance has only two net carbs and 15 calories, so there is no risk of sugar spikes.
